Terms and Conditions

1. Definitions

In these Terms and Conditions:

  • "Leisure Plus" refers to the company supplying goods or services or purchasing goods or services.
  • "Goods" means any items specified on a Leisure Plus invoice.
  • "Services" means any services specified on a Leisure Plus invoice.

2. Application of Terms

These Terms and Conditions shall exclusively govern all contracts between Leisure Plus and the customer, overriding any terms set out in the customer’s documents (including order forms, letters, receipts, or acknowledgments), unless otherwise agreed in writing by Leisure Plus.


3. Prices

  • All prices quoted in brochures, catalogues, or online are subject to confirmation at the time of order.
  • Prices are exclusive of VAT, which will be applied in accordance with legislation current at the date of supply.

4. Credit Accounts

  • Credit accounts may be granted at Leisure Plus’ sole discretion and may require both bank and trade references.
  • All invoices must be paid in full within 30 days of the invoice date.
  • Late payments will incur interest charged daily at a rate of 5% per annum above the NatWest base rate.
  • Leisure Plus reserves the right to alter or withdraw credit terms at any time.

5. Payment Terms

  • Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Cash on Delivery (COD) is required.
  • Non-payment may result in the suspension of future deliveries, without prejudice to any other remedies Leisure Plus may have.

6. Title of Goods

Ownership of goods remains with Leisure Plus until full payment has been received. Risk of damage or loss passes to the customer upon delivery.


7. Damage or Loss Claims

  • Claims for damaged or partially lost goods must be submitted in writing to both Leisure Plus and the carrier within 3 days of delivery.
  • Claims for non-delivery must be submitted within 28 days of dispatch.

8. Guarantee & Returns

Product Guarantee

Leisure Plus will offer a replacement or refund at its discretion if:

  • The product is returned to Leisure Plus.
  • It has been used in accordance with the original manufacturer’s guidelines.
  • The refund amount does not exceed the original purchase price.

Customers must provide reasonable access to any equipment used with the product for inspection.


9. Warranty & Liability

  • Leisure Plus products are covered by £5,000,000 product liability insurance (details available on request).
  • Liability is limited to the repair or replacement of affected equipment.
  • Leisure Plus is not liable for any consequential losses, whether economic or otherwise.

10. Returns Policy

  • All returns must be pre-arranged by contacting info@leisureplus.co.uk.
  • Returns for incorrectly ordered or unwanted items are accepted within 28 days of order date, subject to:
    • Items being returned in original packaging and condition.
    • A 10% restocking fee + VAT.
    • Return shipping at the customer’s expense and risk.
  • Non-returnable items:
    • Special Order or Non-Stock items.
    • 3mm Ply Wallboards and 15mm Furniture Boards.
    • Electrical components in opened sealed bags, unless proven faulty after inspection.
    • PCBs ordered in error and returned unsealed.

Items returned without prior agreement will not be processed and may incur return postage charges.


11. Non-UK Customers

For zero-rated VAT transactions where goods are collected for export:

  • Goods are sold under Incoterms EXW (Ex Works).
  • Buyers are responsible for all customs and shipping documentation.
  • Proof of export (e.g. shipping documents or Bill of Lading) must be provided within 30 days.
  • Failure to provide proof may result in a 20% surcharge on the value of the goods.

12. Dropshipping

Dropshipping is available at an additional cost. Please contact us directly to arrange, as the website does not currently support this function.


13. Force Majeure

Leisure Plus reserves the right to cancel or amend any contract due to circumstances beyond its control, including (but not limited to): natural disasters, war, strikes, labour disputes, fires, floods, or government regulations.


14. Governing Law

All contracts shall be governed by and interpreted under the laws of the United Kingdom, based on the residence of Leisure Plus.


15. Severability and Waiver

  • Failure by Leisure Plus to enforce any provision shall not constitute a waiver of that right.
  • If any clause is found to be invalid, it shall not affect the validity of the remaining Terms.
  • Invalid clauses shall be modified, if necessary, to become enforceable.
